Yes, when the product is dentist-supplied and used as instructed. In the UK, whitening above 0.1% hydrogen peroxide must be carried out or prescribed by a dental professional, which is why we sell these through our clinic.
How long do whitening results last?
Typically 12 to 24 months, depending on diet and smoking. Most people top up with a short refresh once or twice a year rather than repeating a full course.
Will whitening make my teeth sensitive?
Some people get temporary sensitivity during a course. Reducing wear time, spacing out applications and using a sensitivity toothpaste usually resolves it.
Do I need trays to use whitening gel?
For gel, yes — custom trays give an even result and protect the gums. Pens are the tray-free option for light surface staining.
